A warm welcome for families to Zakopane
Our rooms are well suited to catering for children. On request we can provide everything necessary for our youngest guests; from additional beds, cots, kettles, changing mats, baby-baths, sterilizers and highchairs, to safety equipment to fit on the doors, windows, furniture and electrical sockets.
We also provide special children’s shampoo and soap.
To keep the young ones entertained, we have a children’s Play Corner in both the restaurant and our SPA centre which contain wooden toys, books, soft toys and colouring books. For the more active, we have a playground in the Hotel gardens and for cold, wet days, a playroom adjoining the Cardio studio. Here, children will find all their favourite attractions – slides, a ball pool, a wendy house, swings and space hoppers.
We can guarantee professional childcare, both individually and during holiday periods when our ‘Mini Club’ invites children to join together in games, competitions and film screenings. In Winter, snow-lovers can borrow one of our sledges. We can also assist with the hiring of ski equipment for both children and adults; and on request, we can organize individual tuition on skis or snowboard for parents and offspring. Alternatively there is the option to join a group at a ski/snowboard school. Whatever your requirements we can ensure the whole family enjoys their time in Zakopane. As an extra treat, why not take a sleigh ride and roast sausages on a bonfire, or race across the snow on snow scooters or take a hot-air balloon trip.
Our Hotel swimming pool invites young swimmers to the water to play with various inflatable toys and swimming aids. There is always the option to take swimming lessons with one of our life-guards.
The restaurant also caters for our younger guests with a special menu which includes ‘Little Chicken’ and ‘Kangaroo soup’. And for dessert – rainbow ice cream, milkshakes or favourite cakes. The very youngest can use our safe and colourful children’s crockery and cutlery.
Our Hotel cooperates with a local clinic and a doctor is available at all times to consult with regards to childhood fevers, catarrh, coughs, colds, infections and any other problem which may arise.
For older children we can offer the use of our internet; to check e-mail, play interactive games or search for current events and offers in Zakopane. There is also the option to play mini billiards or table-football.
A table-football family championship usually proves a loud and emotional event not just for the younger family members!
Often in the evenings families at the Stamary can be found in the Hotel café gathered round the fireplace playing battleships, cards or scrabble. Alternatively, a selection of books – including both Polish and International classics – can be borrowed from Reception.
